At about 12mn last night, Leah complained of excruciating pain in her stomach area. It was the first time that I saw her writhing in such extreme discomfort, that she was barely able to walk properly. I rushed her to the ER, where doctors weren’t able to pinpoint the cause. Even up to now, she’s still feeling some pain in her abdomen.
My first thoughts were despair and worry. I had many questions on my mind, and as of now, science still has no answer.
And then I remembered that my fellow worship team member Adit requested me to sing for the upcoming Prayer Night. The night’s theme was based on a well-known verse from the book of Jeremiah:
Jeremiah 29:11 – ‘For I know the plans I have for you… plans to prosper you and not to harm you.’
I was not able to join the Prayer Night and lead the people to worship, and Leah still has pain in her stomach. But if I hadn’t received the verse from Adit, I could still be harboring despair and worry in my heart.
Instead, I’m now filled with hope and faith. Wow, God really knows His plans for me.
